Below is a list of courses I will run if there is enough interest. Classes are FREE. Please fill in the slip below if you are interested.

v     Fighting Fit Classes

§         Once a week for 6 weeks (Monday or Friday), 09.30-10.30

§         Beginning in the second week of February

§         Both men and women welcome. Take it at your own pace. There’ll be lots of fun and encouragement to help you push yourself

v     Storybags

§         Do your children like stories? Would you like to make stories even more exciting?

§         Take part in a 7 week course to bring stories to life. Help create Storybags for your child’s school

Story bags are designed for children and adults to share together. The bags help bring books to life. Parents design the bag which contains puzzles, games and props connected to the book.

v     Anger Management Talk (one morning)

§         Tuesday 13^th March , 11.00 – 13.30

§         Helping you understand and manage your own and your child’s anger

New Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator

Clodagh Kenny is the new Home School Community Liaison Coordinator for the Junior and Senior School. She is available to talk and listen to any problem you may have. You can make an appointment to see her by phone or through either office. She may also call to your home over the coming term for a chat.
Her role as coordinator involves:

§         Organising courses, talks or meetings for parents/guardians;

§         Supporting and involving parents/guardians in their children’s education;

§         Meeting parents/guardians in the school and in their home;

§         Developing closer ties between teachers, schools and the parents/guardians;

§         Encouraging parents/guardians to work on classroom projects, such as Big Book Reading or Maths for Fun.

She looks forward to meeting you all in the coming months.
